CloudClone stores various details that are necessary for the provision of our service. These include your email address (for job status reports) and details on copy operations you ask us to perform including source and destination accounts, which containers you asked us to transfer and the status report for that job. We may also store data on service usage trends, such as how many users accessed our service on a particular day.
CloudClone stores login details for cloud accounts you add to it forever for your convenience. You can remove these stored details at any time by signing in to CloudClone and deleting the relevant accounts via the account management page.
For technical reasons, files you transfer with CloudClone temporarily reside on our servers during the transfer process. These will not be accessed by humans and are deleted when the transfer operation completes. We do not view the contents of your files.
Your data is also subject to the policies of the source and destination cloud services that you are copying between. You should have been provided with information on their privacy policies when you signed up for those services.
We use Google Analytics (see https://www.google.com/analytics/) to collect and analyse site statistics. Google Analytics mainly uses first-party cookies to report on visitor interactions on this website. These cookies do not collect any personally identifiable information and are only used for the statistical collection of data such as visits and page hits.
As necessary to provide our service, we send those cloud services you are explicitly copying files to and from, their relevant login details and information on and the contents of your files and containers.
